As usual at this time of year Pygmalion is offering a 10% discount to students who wish to register by June 28 for fall art classes when you pay for a full semester. Some of the classes fill up fast so sign up early to make sure you get the class time you prefer.  Also, if you want to keep the same class time for fall but want to pay monthly, you can hold a spot by registering and paying for the month of September.

Five-day Summer Art and Cartooning camps are being offered in July and August. The camps have a different format than the classes during the year.  I am also offering five Teen / Adult classes in July and August on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 – 9:00 pm for those students who want to continue with their art over the summer.

Pygmalion will be celebrating the student’s artwork from the past school year by having a student art exhibition on Friday, June 22  from 5:30 – 8:30 pm.  Each student can submit 2 of their best artworks.  They don’t have to be framed, but if they are framed, please make sure the art is ready for hanging (with a wire or hook on the back).  I would like the art delivered to Pygmalion by Saturday, June 9.  Please let me know if you are interested in volunteering to help me set up for the show or if you would like to bring something to add to the refreshments at the exhibition.

I will be handing out invitations along with an entry form for for the students to fill out and hand in with their artwork by the end of May. Please Invite as many friends and family as you wish to the exhibition, it is a nice way to end the year where the students can show off their work and be proud of what they have accomplished.

The school will be closed for Victoria Day on May 21 but will be open for classes on Saturday, May 19.

Please make up any classes you have missed by the last day of classes on Thursday, June 28
